Rex's Exes Opens Saturday, Sept. 23rd!

Our production of the Jones-Hope-Wooten comedy "Rex's Exes" opens THIS Saturday night, September 23rd at 7 PM! In last season's "Red Velvet Cake War," Jacob Ward as Uncle Aubrey kept the audience AND himself in stitches with his advice and antics . Enjoy a few in our "Uncle Aubrey says..." video!

Auditions for Grades K-8 "Snap the Whip!"

Here's a memory from our 2018 production of "Snap the Whip!" Do you recognize anyone who's all grown up now? Or... well ... 5 years older!

Director Kandy Cleland & Musical Director Jodine Pilmer seek a cast of 24-32 young people in grades K-8 who are ready to bring Winslow Homer's painting to life and return with us to 1850’s Ohio when children playfully scattered across a meadow in summer heat, gathered apples during fall harvest, battled winter storms and sickness, and rejoiced in a spring thaw. This one act musical needs lots of children and olde youth to share this story on the Trinity Playhouse stage!

Come to the Trinity Playhouse on Saturday, September 30th or Monday, October 2nd during a one hour time slot. Memorize ONE line from the line readings to share at auditions. Also come prepared to sing a short musical selection. Our friendly and encouraging staff is looking for POTENTIAL, not perfection. New faces are always welcome!

The Verdeen Sisters of Sweetgum, Texas– last season’s crazy cousins in “Red Velvet Cake Wars'' are back! That’s right! Gaynelle, Peaches and Jimmie Wyvette are teetering on the brink of disaster! Again!

Guest Director Kari Beil and our original cast are having a blast rehearsing the outrageous complications of this ferociously funny Jones-Hope-Wooten comedy.

Look who’s back! You’ll enjoy Christine Martin as Gaynelle, Tina Duster as Peaches and Jen Milligan as Jimmie Wyvette as they continue their over-the-top adventure in “Rex’s Exes.”

Also returning are Athena Tausch as CeeCee Windham, VIrginia Barborak as LaMerle and Hannah Misko as Bitsy. And yes! We promise you that Uncle Aubrey (Jacob Ward) will be chasing Mama Doll (Kellie Ryan) the best he can with his oxygen tank in tow. Aaron Hincliffe, Olivia Rice, John Diddle and Kari Beil are quick to step into their cowboy boots as we are introduced to some of Sweetgum’s interesting assortment of oddball residents.

Gaynelle is turnin’ the BIG 5-0 and she’s insistin’ that nobody mentions it OR gets any stupid ideas about a surprise party. So of course the folks over at JWB Supply of Lisbon are sponsoring the show and throwin’ her a party EVERY performance with a piece of delicious Texas Sheet cake for everyone who comes to the show!
