Stage Left Players is absolutely thrilled to announce that we’ve been awarded a $7,769 grant from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) for our upcoming Season 33: Grow with Us! 🌱
This incredible funding, made possible through the State of Ohio’s budget and the support of Governor Mike DeWine and members of the Ohio General Assembly, will help us bring more stories to life, open the door to more young performers, and keep ticket prices affordable so everyone in our community can share in the joy of live theatre.
“This grant is a huge boost for our little theatre and our big dreams,” says Kandace Cleland, Executive Director of Stage Left Players. “With the Ohio Arts Council’s support, we can create more magic on stage, welcome more young talent, and make sure ticket prices stay within reach for our friends and neighbors. I can’t wait to see what we’ll make together this season!”
Season 33: Grow with Us is bursting with variety — from quirky comedy to timeless classics and original works you’ll only see here:
Sideways Stories from Wayside School (Youth Production, Grades 5–9)
The Foreigner
Cinderella (Original K–8 Musical)
A Trailer Park Holiday (Original Holiday Show)
Princess Prudy’s Promise (Our version of The Frog Prince)

We are deeply grateful to the Ohio Arts Council for recognizing the impact of the arts in small communities like ours. This grant will help us continue to transform, inspire, and connect our community through live theatre — something Stage Left Players has been doing for more than 30 years.
