And Just Like That… Season 34!

There is something about this time of year at Stage Left Players.
The summer whirlwind settles down—or at least changes direction. The calendar on the wall suddenly looks alarmingly full. Scripts appear.
People start talking about costumes, rehearsal schedules, props and things we probably need to build. And somehow, here we are. Season 34.
Thirty-four seasons of gathering people together to tell stories in our little theatre in Lisbon. You'd think after all these years I'd be used to starting another season. I'm not. It's still exciting.
And this one is going to be fun.
We'll CONNECT. with Charlotte's Web.
We'll DREAM. with Wake Up, Aurora!
We'll GATHER. for Come Home for Christmas.
We'll LAUGH. through Who Turned Out the Lights?
We'll DARE. to head west with Hey, Li'l Red!
We'll REMEMBER. with our Silver Players in Home on the Range.
And we'll MARCH. right into summer with The Music Man.
In between, SPARK Storytellers will take the stage and prove once again that you don't need a script to tell a really good story. That's a lot of theatre. But when I look at Season 34, the shows aren't really the first thing I see. I see the people.
The kid who walks into an audition for the first time—and looks slightly terrified.
The actor who hasn't been onstage in twenty years and decides, Why not?
The volunteer who comes in to paint something and somehow ends up building half the set.
The musicians squeezing themselves and their instruments into our pit.
The families who know exactly where they like to sit.
And someone walking into Trinity Playhouse for the very first time, wondering what they've gotten themselves into.
That's Stage Left. People come through the door. They bring whatever they know how to do—or sometimes something they've never done before—and somehow we make theatre together.
Flex Passes Go on Sale September 1
If you're wondering how much of Season 34 you'd like to see, our Flex Passes make that decision pretty easy. You don't have to choose all your dates now. Pick the performances that work for you as the season unfolds. Bring somebody along. Try a show you might not ordinarily choose. Come back for another. And yes, buying a Flex Pass helps Stage Left, too. It gives us some important support at the beginning of the season while giving you a great deal on a year of live theatre.
Season 34 Flex Passes are available September 1–30.
We started planning this season with a handful of words:
CONNECT. DREAM. GATHER. LAUGH. DARE. REMEMBER. MARCH.
Now we get to find out what happens when we put all those words onstage.
Come along. Season 34 is about to begin.
