Season 34: 2026-2027

Come Home for Christmas: A Wonderfully Complicated Adventure!
Well, we've done it! We've had our first rehearsals for Come Home for Christmas, and I couldn't be more excited about this cast! There's something especially wonderful about bringing old Stage Left friends together with new faces, watching friendships pick up right where they left off, and hearing Christmas music fill the Historic Trinity Playhouse once again. Now comes the fun part: figuring out how to get everyone onstage at the right time! On paper, Come Home for Christmas

Your Neighbors. Real Stories. Sharing the Stage at SPARK!
From the Executive & Artistic Director of Stage Left Players There's something wonderfully different about standing onstage without a costume, a character, or a script to hide behind. Just you, a microphone, and a story that belongs to you! This Sunday, November 1, I'll have the pleasure of sharing the stage with a wonderful group of friends and neighbors for SPARK Storytellers: BEFORE & AFTER — Stories of What Changed at the Historic Trinity Playhouse. At Stage Left Players,

They're Coming Home for Christmas!
From the desk of the Executive & Artistic Director of Stage Left Players I watched the sign-ups come in for our upcoming original holiday production, Come Home for Christmas, and I have to tell you something. They're coming home! Names are appearing on my screen that make me stop, smile, and remember. Some are our Stage Left Kids—all grown up now! College graduates, young adults building their own lives, performers who haven't stepped onto our stage in years. And here they ar

More Than a Show: Growing Up at Stage Left
There is a moment in every youth production when something changes. For weeks, we rehearse. We learn lines and blocking. We find costumes. We build scenery. We remind people where to stand, when to enter, and—for what feels like the hundredth time—which prop they are supposed to be carrying. And then, somehow, it becomes a story. That happened this week with Charlotte’s Web. E.B. White’s beloved story is about a pig named Wilbur and the extraordinary friend who decides his l

Stage Left Players is delighted to announce the cast of our original musical, Wake Up, Aurora!, coming to the Historic Trinity Playhouse this November. SPARK Storytellers: BEFORE & AFTER — Stories of Change
Do you feel a story coming on? We all lived through 2020 and the pandemic years—but we didn’t all live the same story. For our next SPARK Storytellers event, we’re gathering personal stories about those years and the ways the experience changed us. Not politics. Not policies. Not arguments about what should or shouldn’t have happened. We’re interested in what happened to you. Maybe your story begins with Before the pandemic, I thought… Now I know. Or perhaps it’s about someth

Featuring young performers in Grades 5–9, Charlotte’s Web brings Wilbur, Charlotte, Fern, Templeton and the whole Zuckerman barnyard to life in a story filled with humor, heart and one extraordinary friendship. And Just Like That… Season 34!
There is something about this time of year at Stage Left Players. The summer whirlwind settles down—or at least changes direction. The calendar on the wall suddenly looks alarmingly full. Scripts appear. People start talking about costumes, rehearsal schedules, props and things we probably need to build. And somehow, here we are. Season 34. Thirty-four seasons of gathering people together to tell stories in our little theatre in Lisbon. You'd think after all these years I'd
