SPARK Storytelling Returns — March 2026 Theme Announced!

We are delighted to share that SPARK Storytelling returns this winter, and we’re inviting both past and new storytellers to join us for another season of real, heartfelt, community-grown stories.

SPARK is all about true stories told by real people — neighbors, friends, and family — offering moments that are humorous, touching, challenging, unexpected, and deeply human. Together, we’ve created a space where Columbiana County feels connected and enriched, one authentic story at a time.

And now… we’re ready for the next chapter.

March 2026 Theme: LUCK — Good. Bad. Unexpected.

This season, we explore the mysterious, mischievous, sometimes miraculous force of luck — the moments chance stepped in and changed everything.

Think about stories involving:

• Good fortune that arrived out of nowhere

• Bad luck that led to something unexpectedly beautiful

• Coincidences so perfect they felt magical

• Wrong turns that led you exactly where you needed to be

• Near-misses that became family legends

• Risks taken on a whim

• Miracles disguised as accidents

• The moment when timing — good or terrible — rewrote the plan

If life surprised you… then you have a story for SPARK.

Workshops Begin the Week of January 19

We meet once a week, with options for in-person and online participation:

• Wednesdays, 1–3 PM at the Lepper Library or via ZOOM

• One evening per week via ZOOM, scheduled based on coach + storyteller availability

Our coaches, Robin Tener and Kandy Cleland, will guide you as you uncover, shape, and polish your story — whether it’s humorous, heartfelt, or somewhere wonderfully in between.
